Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

PUBLICATION LANGUAGE

As of Volume 2 Issue 2/December 2022, only the articles in English will be considered for publication process in the RAMJournal.  


PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

RAMJournal is published twice a year, in June and December.

 

PUBLICATION CHARGE POLICY

RAMJournal does not request any charge under "article processing charge (APC)", "submisson fee", or "publication charge" at any stage of the publication process from authors. You can access the publications easily and freely from the RAMJournal website.




1. Open Access

All articles are immediately available to the public for free under the Open Access model, supporting global knowledge sharing.


2. License Terms

Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, allowing reuse with proper citation.


3. Publication Ethics

Adheres to COPE's guidelines ensuring transparency, originality, and ethical practices in research:

Originality & Plagiarism: Articles must be original, and plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Submissions are checked for plagiarism.

Duplicate Submissions: Authors must not submit the same or similar articles to multiple journals simultaneously.

Data Manipulation: Fabrication or falsification of data is unethical.

Citation Manipulation: Authors should only include relevant citations, and self-citation for the purpose of increasing citations is discouraged.


4. Peer Review Process

A double-blind peer review system ensures unbiased evaluations. Articles are reviewed by at least two independent experts before publication. The review process includes:

Initial Evaluation: The editorial team reviews submissions for plagiarism, scope relevance, and language clarity.

Peer Review: At least two independent experts evaluate the article's scientific quality.

Decision: Based on reviewers' feedback, articles may be accepted, revised, or rejected.


5. Duties of Editors

Objectivity: Decisions on publication should be based on the manuscript's quality, not on author’s characteristics.

Confidentiality: Editors must keep submission details confidential.

Conflicts of Interest: Editors must avoid personal gain from the peer review process.


6. Duties of Authors

Originality: Authors must submit original work and ensure proper citation of others' work.

Authorship Changes: Changes in authorship are managed according to COPE guidelines.

Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.

Confidentiality: Submitted articles are confidential and may only be disclosed to relevant parties involved in the publication process.


7. Ethical Use of AI in Data and Content Creation:

Authors must ensure that AI is used ethically, particularly in data analysis and content generation. AI tools should not be used to manipulate, falsify, or distort research findings.

AI-generated content should be considered as supplementary to the author's own work and must be critically reviewed by the authors for quality, coherence, and accuracy before publication.

Authors should ensure that their AI systems are properly trained and validated, minimizing the risk of errors or biases in the final research product.


8. Data Access & Retention

Authors may be asked to provide raw data for review and should retain it for a reasonable period after publication.


9. Acknowledgements

Acknowledgments should recognize individuals who contributed to the development of the paper but did not meet authorship criteria.
